There are a number of people around the world who are concerned about their health. For that purpose they try different diet plans in order to keep them healthy and active. Some people get to know the secret some do not, and then they ask this question what is a healthy diet? The answer to this question may not be very simple as it seems. You need to have a very profound knowledge about every meal you take.
Supposedly your friend tells you that this is the perfect diet but in true meanings it may not be. You yourself have to look for an answer then. As we know world is a global village you can consult the internet for that purpose, but can you narrow down the information you need. Can you find a diet plan related to your cultural norms? Suppose you are a Muslim and you are searching over the internet for a diet plan and you find out that pork is also included in the diet plan, can you pursue it certainly not. So you have to match the diet plan according to your culture.
There are a number of food taboos prevailing around the world. Out of these two are the most significant ones that help us understand other better. One of them is traditional diet and the other one is religious diet. Traditional diet is one in which people make use of the resources of the area they are living in. like people living near coastal areas will make use of marine life and people living inland will eat seasonal and farming foods. Both of them are healthy foods. Though there are a number of areas in which people are living and making use of the natural resources. There food taboos are defined according to area. All of them have a different diet plan in order to maintain a healthy diet.
The other type of diet is religious diet in which religion tells you what to eat and what not to eat. Like in many religions there are a number of food items that are prohibited. In Islam any food that has some contents of pork is totally prohibited whereas as in Hinduism meat is prohibited in one of the sects. The only allowed diet for such a Hindu sect is vegetables. These are examples of two different religions with different food taboos both considering they are maintaining a healthy diet. There is no particular food that any person can say is not good for health. Every food whether its meat, fruit etc. when consumed in defined proportions is beneficial for health by keeping in view religious factors.
As we know world is a global village a person can simply log on to the internet and look for a proper diet. But the problem arises due to intense flow of information over the internet. Due to such amount of information it is difficult for you to narrow down the diet plan relating to your cultural norm.
A person should be able to make a diet plan of his/her own and stick to that. Junk food is highly prohibited world wide as it is not healthy and notorious at all. Try to find out a diet that gives you the most vitamins and minerals in one day by eating less, but would serve the entire purpose of your diet. You should choose only that diet that is highly notorious and healthy for your body. Beware an unhealthy diet might lead to many diseases and may damage the nervous system over time. Though an unhealthy diet may also disturb the digestive system of the person it is essential for every person to pursue a healthy diet.
