2. Lower your self-imposed standards for progress. Perfectionists, however, find it very hard to take action unless every single star is perfectly aligned.

3. Employ self-imposed deadlines. You’ve been conditioned to respond to deadlines your ENTIRE life, so why not take advantage of this? Moreover, applying a ridiculous deadline will force you to execute on the critical few tasks required for the desired outcome. You could, for instance, give yourself 3 hrs. to clean out your kitchen of all junk food and restock it with sexy arm food. Although you’ll have to hustle, it’s doable! 4. Expose yourself to what you fear, again and again. This is an extremely effective strategy for desensitizing yourself from what you fear. The key here is to take it inch by inch.
