Set Challenging But Reachable Golf Training Goals
‘I’ve built my career on a succession of goals. Hitting them – and sometimes missing them narrowly – has been the fuel, the impetus that has taken me from one level up to the next’. (Greg Norman, ‘Shark Attack’)
This article is about setting goals. The following method designed by Leslie Cameron Bandler is the best method I’ve seen on goal setting. To begin, ask your self IS MY GOAL ACHIEVABLE? In determining this, consider if anyone else has achieved this goal before? If not, does it feel achievable for you? WHAT WILL I ACCEPT AS EVIDENCE THAT I HAVE ACHIEVED MY GOAL? What will you see, hear and feel when you have achieved your goal. Get a clear sensory based description of your goal.
IS ACHIEVING THIS GOAL WITHIN MY CONTROL? Booking golf instruction lessons with your coach to improve technique, is within your control, so is the effort you put into practice. ARE THE COSTS AND CONSEQUENCES OF REACHING THE GOAL ACCEPTABLE TO ME? Sometimes stepping up a level in golf may mean time away from family or friends, or may break up your regular Saturday playing group. Is that acceptable to you?
DO YOU HAVE ALL THE RESOURCES YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL? Is your golf swing good enough? If not, can you find an instructor to refine it? Are you physically in the right shape? Do you need to improve your flexibility, stability and strength? Take the time to make sure you have everything you need to achieve your goal.
Finally, ask yourself, IF I COULD HAVE THE GOAL NOW, or at the appropriate time, WOULD I TAKE IT? Hopefully, you will answer yes to this last question. If not, complete the process again until you find a goal that fits. Learn to set rolling goals. By that I mean, always be aware that there is a future beyond the next goal. You may like to try the process for yourself using any golf goal that is relevant to you:
1. What am I seeking from my life, where do I see myself?
2. Do I have it in me to fulfill my goals?
3. How would I know that my goal has been fulfilled?
4. Do I have it in me to fulfill the target?
5. Am I ready to bear the compromises and costs for this?
6) Do I have all the resources I need to achieve my goal?
7. If I achieve my goal after a certain time would it be acceptable to me?
And you are all set to achieve your goals.

Buying Golf Club Cart Bags Online
Any avid golfer can attest that cart bags are an important accessory to have if you want to pursue golfing. This is because cart bags are tougher, sturdier and larger; they are large enough so that they can carry a full bag (fourteen) of golf clubs. Aside from the clubs, majority of bags also carry other golfing accessories such as towels, gloves, balls, umbrellas and tees.
The most common cart bags today are bags that have multiple purposes than just storing clubs. Some have much more uses than others but the main requisite of any quality cart bag is that the bag needs to be able to hold up to it’s primary purpose of helping the golfer while on the course. The cart bag needs to be able to comfortably cart around the golfer’s clubs while also helping to keep the golfer in prime condition.
Shopping online affords the opportunity to shop for cart bags from many different manufacturers. Some of these manufacturers are Callaway, Cobra, and Nike. Whichever brand you end up choosing, there are a lot of colors, designs and styles that will suit all personalities and personal taste.
The manufacturer Callaway, offers a huge selection of bags in almost every size and style. Perhaps their best model is the Strike Cart Bag. This excellent bag is lightweight and offers great storage with enough space to easily accommodate a full set of clubs as well as accessories such as extra shirts, towels, balls and rain gear.
Another brand often offered is the many different models of Ping bags. One of the most popular Ping bags is the incredibly durable Pioneer LC bag. The Pioneer has 7 accessible pockets that can help even the most needy golfer organize all their accessories. It also has a 14-way divider with great deep pockets that can keep your eyewear and water bottler safe. This particular brand is a top seller worldwide and its quality and durability are unmatched.
If you are looking to buy a cart bag then it would likely be in your best interest to compare prices on the internet and also to check out the testimonials and reviews from current owners. The amount of cart bags available is seemingly limitless, but with all that choice comes the difficult task of picking out the perfect bag because you definitely don’t want to get stuck with a poor quality bag. Purchasing your next bag on the internet ensures you get exactly what you want and allows you to make the best choice for you.

When referring to health and training, each tool is fixed to exact precision. By acquiring this technology you receive maximum fitness advantages for reaching your training targets. Whether you are a practitioner for fitness or are a professional athlete, you must be aware of the most current Polar and Suunto watches which track heart rates.
A Closer Look
Regarding Suunto’s running packs, each function of the latest Suunto T3c offers an advantage for training. It provides you with information regarding the speed, time, and distance of the run in addition to burning of calories and heart rate, and allows you to assess how efficient your sessions of training are. The innovative actual-time Training Effect info function gives it an advantage in how functional it is. On the other side, Polar performs equally with the latest release of its Polar RS200SD heart rate monitor watch. Made as a fresh heart monitor meant for runners, its slick, light, and basic design makes it perfect for training and workouts. As the top in their field with heart rate monitors for running, Suunto and Polar are in direct competition with their freshly released workout innovations.
Suunto T3c
The Suunto T3c offers a fundamental design which takes out the hypothesizing in perfecting benefits for training. It fundamentally directs you in obtaining your training and workout aims through providing advice in real-time because of its enhanced functions of connectivity. The Suunto T3c offers fifteen memory logs, saving every one of your logs or chosen logs for you assessments in the future. It comes with the POD (Suunto peripheral observation device) that tracks speed with more precision. Finally, the Training Effect function is aimed at directing you in maintaining your perfect zone for performance. This feature utilizes 1 out of 5 scales to show your fitness intensity based on your level of fitness at the moment. Rs200sd Polar
To precisely monitor speed and distance, the Polar RS200SD establishes enhanced training by measuring heart rate along with its flexible timing features. It automatically tracks your latest 16 training sessions and your last 16 weeks of training. Hence, for someone who wanted to carefully calculate your training progress, this gadget should be yours.
Polar RS200SD vs. Suunto T3c
Polar’s strongest aspect could be its pricing. For a gadget that offers a whole lot of training advantage, it offers the least expensive means of monitoring your heart rate, speed, and distance. Suunto races with competition with its recent partnership with the International Triathlon Union (ITU), which produced the Black Arrow design for the Suunto T3c. While the Suunto T3c features the same leading edge technology that you expect in any other Suunto product, the urban design of Polar RS200SD picks a strong fight.
Like the Polar RS200SD, Suunto T3c is a great product, even if there are some disadvantages. Not having an altimeter and decent computer software is what limits the Polar Rs200sd. With the Suunto T3c, the cost is the only problem. However, anyone who understands the purpose of heart rate monitor would know that a good quality one comes at a cost. The great thing about both the Heart Monitor Watches is that the can be worn by both men and women.
