I’m Already At Day 12 Of The Prescription HCG Diet

I like to be prepared when I start a new diet. So before I ordered the Prescription HCG injections, I did a little reading. One of the things I read was how hard it was to stay on the diet when there were outside temptations. This means going out to eat at a restaurant or a friend’s house. I knew that and yet I thought I was stronger than those other dieters.

I’m on Day 12 of the Prescription HCG Diet. I’ve been keeping a diary of my progress and sharing it so other dieters will know what they can expect if they go on the Prescription HCG Diet to lose weight. I chose Prescription HCG because of their reputation and great customer service. They took the time to answer all the questions I had. My friend Lisa agreed to go on the diet with me after I bugged her about it. We went in as friends and rivals, since we made a bet. The one losing the most weight gets a new pair of jeans paid for by the other person. I’m competitive and I love jeans, so I want to win!

Despite a minor incident at a mall, I’ve been really good about staying on the diet. I’ve followed the portion sizes and only eaten prescribed foods. I’m averaging about a pound of weight loss a day. That’s pretty incredible, don’t you think? But it isn’t always easy and today was a bit of a rough day.

Things started out like every other day. I woke up, weighed myself (I’ve been really good about doing this every morning but one). Today the scale read 160. Right on track and a pound down from yesterday. Seeing the change helps me stay on the 500 calorie a day diet.

There have been studies that show the results of quick weight loss programs helps dieters stay on track and work harder to lose weight. I believe it. I can’t tell you how much seeing progress keeps me going. But I’m not perfect. I like foods that aren’t on the approved Prescription HCG Diet list. I had a slip-up at the mall one day and swore no more mall until the end of the diet. However, there are other dangers lurking. One of those is family get togethers, specifically my niece’s birthday party.

I gave myself the HCG injection first thing this morning and I also took my B-Total. The plan for the party was that we’d all get together, hang out and have bbq. So we didn’t eat before we left. But family parties are family parties and they take on a life of their own. There were delays and more delays until the bbq lunch morphed into a bbq dinner. I was absolutely starving! And that’s problematic when you’re supposed to be really, really careful about what you’re eating. Then I noticed another problem. There was no grilled chicken. There was only bbq sausage and turkey legs. And those are NOT approved for the HCG diet.

I decided to minimize the damage and only eat one turkey leg, but when you haven’t eaten for most of the day, that doesn’t really cut it, so I added some potato salad and a little Caesar salad. I’m not going to lie. I really enjoyed it all. Then there was the cake staring me in the face.

But I didn’t have cake? Are you proud of me? I know, I know…”proud” is asking a bit too much at the moment. It was not a good day. And I’m dreading getting on the scale tomorrow. I feel like I should get online and add to the mountain of reviews out there discussing how if you really want to succeed on the diet that you just need to stay home. But I decided that I would wait until the program is complete before I add my opinion to the lot.

Day 9: Waiting For My HCG Diet Kit

You haven’t forgotten Lisa, have you? She is the buddy that I bullied into sticking to the HCG diet alongside me. We are still sitting around waiting for our HCG Diet kits so with all our extra time we have been studying up on the HCG diet protocol. In our studying we have discovered a couple items to stress about.

There are tons of different postings regarding the matter, but the problem is that many of them contradict each other. Lisa and I have agreed to disagree when it comes to the protocol until we actually get our HCG diet protocol in the mail along with our products in the HCG diet kit.

But I cannot help but whip through some of the available information online and take note of a couple of the items that are jumping out at me as troublesome issues: berries, substitutions, ground meat, diet pop and Crystal Light.

I will begin by whining about the possible lack of Diet Pop and Crystal Light. REALLY? Seriously no diet pop or Crystal Light? That’s what I read, anyway. A few of the online hot spots I read back in the day pointed to their “twice daily diet pop” and their constant consumption of Crystal Light as their salvation while they stayed away from sugar and ate very limited fruit. And I totally saw how that would be me.

I mean, if I can’t have a giant sugar cookie slathered in cream cheese frosting…I better have my hands wrapped around a diet soda or SOMETHING! But I’m going to put a pin in that and revisit it when the actual protocol confirms my suspicions.

I’m also dreading the fact that ALL berries aren’t approved. All those yummy berries out there seem so fantastic and healthy yet it seems that only strawberries are approved on the diet. At least that’s what I’m getting from the majority of the blogs, etc. that I’m running across.

I also read about ground meat. Apparently it’s a definite “no-no.” That makes sense so I bet it’s right. I’m just going to have a difficult time telling my little brother the next time he hosts one of his frequent grilling nights for the fam. He’s a hunter and he’s so proud of the fact that the ground meat he uses for his burgers actually comes from his own hard work! He’s got a freezer full of ground meat of all sorts and it’s always very good. I guess I will have to bring my own tiny steak or something. And he’ll just have to accept my apologies for purchasing my own meat.

The only other thing that really stands out as problematic is the issue with substitutions. Basically…there don’t seem to be any. I figured that you could “save” items to eat later. Like a fruit for late afternoon or even evening. Or your Melba toasts for the middle of the night if you had to stay up to work late, etc.

But there are bloggers and facebookers out there who are discussing the fact that you cannot do that. Or that you are not supposed to do that. Sigh. Well, I guess I’ll just have to get over it for now. I might as well because I don’t even know which parts of my fears are true and which are just rumor. I’ll be able to see for sure as soon as the HCG diet kit arrives since there’s a protocol booklet included with the products. And then I’ll know!

The Health Benefits Of HCG: Get Them For Yourself

The health benefits of HCG are many; so many, in fact, that it can be claimed that they are endless. The wide spread problem of obesity is 1 that results in a wild number of health problems. The fact that this specific set of typical health problems are (for the most part) avoidable makes it even more depressing that the problem of obesity has reached extreme proportions.

It’s not just a “looks” issue. Many people want to lose weight to look better, but for a lot of us…it’s a health issue more than anything else. Bodily functions are inhibited by extreme levels of weight. Being overweight can strain certain bodily functions. And being obese strains them even more. It can even result in a shortened life span.

Obese people live with higher dangers of heart disease and stroke. They are in addition more likely to have diabetes, increased blood pressure, gallbladder disease and gallst1s, cancer, osteoarthritis, sleep apnoea, asthma and gout. And that is just to list a couple.

The risk of heart disease alone should be enough to bring obesity to the notice of the world at large as an issue to get under control. The risk of heart disease and stroke should be enough to cause enough alarm (alarm is an appropriate response to this situation) in those even approaching the state of obesity. But the risk of several severe conditions that are often the cause of pre-mature death in a person…should have been a guarantee that NO ONE would allow themselves to adjust to the state of obesity. And that didn’t happen.

Physicians find themselves constantly discussing being overweight and obese with their patients. They find themselves reiterating the problems assosociated with negative weight states. They find themselves helping their patients to weight the risks, the advantages and the “trouble” of losing weight. Many are suggesting prescription HCG.

Prescription HCG offers notable weight loss in a little amount of time. Successful dieters seem to lose approx. 1 lb. per day. That’s 1 lb. each and every day. The health benefits al1 make the stringent diet well worth the effort. If you think about it…successfully making it through the prescription HCG program leaves people less likely to go through any or all of the following: heart disease, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, gallbladder, gallstones, cancer, osteoarthritis, sleep apnoea, asthma and gout…again…that is just to name a couple! If that doesn’t make regulating your eating habits worth it…there’s not much that can!

Some Health Benefits Of HCG

Prescription HCG is a demanding diet. There is no other way to say it, HCG requires dieters make sacrifices, some expected, others not as expected. But prescription HCG continues to be one of the most used weight loss programs because it generates real weight loss and perhaps most importantly; healthy weight loss.

Obesity is a growing problem in the United States and can create a variety of health complications. Of course it is true that some people have legitimate medical issues that truly influence their abilities to control their weight but for the most part people simply eat too much and are lazy. Those falling into the second category have the power to take control and stop many of their health risks their obesity can potentially present by simply adopting a healthy weight loss program.

When a body enters into the obese state the body is often unable to function at the optimal levels. Heart rate is affected, the respiratory system is affected, digestion, blood flow and more are all affected. Additionally, an individual who is overweight by 40% is twice as likely to die early.

Overweight and obese individuals have a much higher chance of experiencing heart disease and a stroke. Additionally, obese individuals have a greater chance of being diagnosed with diabetes, gallbladder disease and gallstones, elevated blood pressure, sleep apnea, asthma and gout. Many of these health complications can be avoided if a healthy weight loss diet is adopted.

For some people the risk of heart disease alone is sufficient to inspire the desire to put down the macaroons and shepherd’s pie and implement a healthy weight loss diet plan, but unfortunately it is not sufficient for most. In fact, research results released in 2007 indicated that heart related diseases were the leading cause of death killing 1 person in the United Sates every 34 seconds.

It would be difficult to find a doctor who would disagree with there being a direct correlation between obesity and increase health risks. The more overweight an individual is the more likely they are to experience health problems. Whether you are 20% overweight or 40% overweight, you still are at risk for health problems.

Upon recognizing their weight has become a problem, many people choose to go on what many consider the most effective and healthy weight loss diet plan on the market; Prescription HCG. HCG has been used for weight loss for decades but recently as obesity problems have continued to increase, the diet has become more widely used.

For individuals who are dedicated to the diet, prescription HCG is a healthy weight loss plan that not only can help dieters lose about a pound per day they on the diet but also help them in establishing better eating habits. With better eating habits comes improved chances of avoiding many of the following complications that can be triggered by obesity: heart disease, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, gallbladder, gallstones, cancer, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, asthma and gout and more.
