Average Weight Loss per Week

What is the average weight reduction each week? Well it depends on the individual, but generally around 2 pounds. Yes, 2 pounds. You know why? Actually, it’s not weight loss but rather FAT loss. The average weight loss per week is 2 pounds simply because you can find 3500 calories of energy in 1 pound of fat, even if you could make a deficit of 1000 calories per day. This is still equivalent to 2 pounds of average weight loss per week (7000 divide by 3500).

Wait. You may believe that 2 pounds per day is modest or isn’t sufficient. But should you in fact do it consistently, in 12 weeks, the loss would equal 24 pounds and that’s lots of weight loss, truly fat loss. In case you did manage to lose 24 pounds of excess body fat, I can tell you that the distinction would be tremendous, you’d look truly excellent! This means that performing this often or consistently would gave you fantastic results and would definitely assist your health since the weight you might be loosing are essentially fats, and that feels truly great.

Now, we have another big question. Why don’t we see those results consistently on the scales? The average weight loss per week is 2 pounds but we don’t see the effects directly cause the fat that you loose are basically transformed into muscle and fluid gains.

Muscle is built to adapt to exercise because when you do new exercise you’re pushing the muscles beyond there normal capacity, thus there is a need for more strength. Because muscle is made up largely of water there’s usually a slight gain in weight. This means that the FAT loss or weight loss from an increase in activity can be masked by a slight gain in muscles.

Did you know that if you persist with an exercise regime for just a few more weeks the gradual fat loss will continue but muscle growth will cease and you’ll start to see the results on the weighing scale once more? Exercise can build a faster metabolism.

I’m Already At Day 12 Of The Prescription HCG Diet

December 5, 2010 by

I like to be prepared when I start a new diet. So before I ordered the Prescription HCG injections, I did a little reading. One of the things I read was how hard it was to stay on the diet when there were outside temptations. This means going out to eat at a restaurant or a friend’s house. I knew that and yet I thought I was stronger than those other dieters.

I’m on Day 12 of the Prescription HCG Diet. I’ve been keeping a diary of my progress and sharing it so other dieters will know what they can expect if they go on the Prescription HCG Diet to lose weight. I chose Prescription HCG because of their reputation and great customer service. They took the time to answer all the questions I had. My friend Lisa agreed to go on the diet with me after I bugged her about it. We went in as friends and rivals, since we made a bet. The one losing the most weight gets a new pair of jeans paid for by the other person. I’m competitive and I love jeans, so I want to win!

Despite a minor incident at a mall, I’ve been really good about staying on the diet. I’ve followed the portion sizes and only eaten prescribed foods. I’m averaging about a pound of weight loss a day. That’s pretty incredible, don’t you think? But it isn’t always easy and today was a bit of a rough day.

Things started out like every other day. I woke up, weighed myself (I’ve been really good about doing this every morning but one). Today the scale read 160. Right on track and a pound down from yesterday. Seeing the change helps me stay on the 500 calorie a day diet.

There have been studies that show the results of quick weight loss programs helps dieters stay on track and work harder to lose weight. I believe it. I can’t tell you how much seeing progress keeps me going. But I’m not perfect. I like foods that aren’t on the approved Prescription HCG Diet list. I had a slip-up at the mall one day and swore no more mall until the end of the diet. However, there are other dangers lurking. One of those is family get togethers, specifically my niece’s birthday party.

I gave myself the HCG injection first thing this morning and I also took my B-Total. The plan for the party was that we’d all get together, hang out and have bbq. So we didn’t eat before we left. But family parties are family parties and they take on a life of their own. There were delays and more delays until the bbq lunch morphed into a bbq dinner. I was absolutely starving! And that’s problematic when you’re supposed to be really, really careful about what you’re eating. Then I noticed another problem. There was no grilled chicken. There was only bbq sausage and turkey legs. And those are NOT approved for the HCG diet.

I decided to minimize the damage and only eat one turkey leg, but when you haven’t eaten for most of the day, that doesn’t really cut it, so I added some potato salad and a little Caesar salad. I’m not going to lie. I really enjoyed it all. Then there was the cake staring me in the face.

But I didn’t have cake? Are you proud of me? I know, I know…”proud” is asking a bit too much at the moment. It was not a good day. And I’m dreading getting on the scale tomorrow. I feel like I should get online and add to the mountain of reviews out there discussing how if you really want to succeed on the diet that you just need to stay home. But I decided that I would wait until the program is complete before I add my opinion to the lot.

HCG Diet Recipes for Your Appetite

A series of methods to reduce weight are available in today’s world. One of the key methods of weight reduction is the HCG diet. The protocol of strategically diet reduces your calorie intake by a person in overweight or obese. The diet regimen allows the recruitment of only 500 calories a day. As the body needs more calories, the hormone HCG is injected in measured doses. This helps burn all the excess fat accumulated in the body, which reduces the body weight.

When a woman becomes pregnant, the placenta produces a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin, or HCG, as is commonly known. During the period of pregnancy, the hormone controls the metabolic functions of the mother. The hormone protects the child, providing the necessary nutrients and calories from the mother’s body, fat accumulation. And ‘this unique property of the hormone that drove Dr. Simeons Albert, to analyze and develop the HCG diet plan. The HCG acts as a food supplement. The hormone HCG is injected into a person overweight or obese, and reduced calories. It was noted that the body can handle the 500 calories. The extra calories are released from the excess body fat accumulation in the body. Since caloric intake is significantly reduced, food intake should be high in protein and low in carbohydrates and fats.

The procedure for the HCG diet has to be planned strategically to achieve the desired results from ilottenere HCG diet plan. As the current food could not be taken from the diet, the need to prepare new recipes HCG has become a necessity. All the recipes had to be low in calories and fat. The HCG Diet Protocol phase 3 different types of food to be taken from the diet. So the recipes also had to meet the requirements of different diet.

In HCG Diet plan, the protocol begins by the third day diet. A sample of HCG Diet Plan say that you can have for breakfast, lunch and dinner in one day is shown.

During the first two days of the protocol, the diet is given the measured dose injection of the hormone HCG. Drink at least two liters of water. How Can You Reduce Your Weight With The Help Of HCG Diet?

HCG means Human Chorionic Gonadotroppin, and it is a hormone, that is used to create placenta, and generated at the time of pregnancy. Though both males and females have this hormone, but at the time of pregnancy, the quantity of this hormone gets increased in ladies. This hormone works in a very simple way, it generates signals towards a gland, that is situated in the brain, and known as hypothalamus gland. And these signals help to generate more energy by burning extra fat from fat stores, and thus the baby uses this energy. When a woman is pregnant, this energy is used for the growth of the baby, and when she is not pregnant, then fats are broken down, and extra energy is released, thereby breaking the fat store.

Because the HCG hormone requests the breakage of fats, therefore the body throws away the extra energy stored, thereby reducing the body weight. This is the reason why HCG diet is becoming very famous, since it consists of only a few drops of hormones, and weight is reduced- naturally.

If you are going to get HCG, then you should know that just a few drops of this hormone would work for you. HCG does not make your body think that you are pregnant, it only tricks the body into thinking that you need to cut down the fat molecules- thus it is a safe diet for both men and women.

The popularity of HCG weight loss is increasing day by day because people are realizing that it is a safe method to lose weight, and they do not need to follow a hectic exercise schedule and they do not need to stop eating their favorite food. This is the reason why people go for HCG diet- they do not have to exercise; in fact, exercising during the HCG plan is not recommended.

As we all know that HCG is not harmful, but to be at safer side, you should consult your doctor if you are thinking to buy it. It is probably the easiest and safest way to lose weight, as compared to all the other alternatives of losing weight. And, you can reduce weight on record levels in a short duration, which is a breakthrough in the weight loss industry. You can also get benefited from this diet just like other people, but you should consult your doctor before going to buy this diet.

HCG For Weight Loss The Natural Homeopathic Way To Say Goodbye To Obesity

In the early stages of pregnancy, the woman’s body produces high levels of HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). The production of HCG continues throughout the pregnancy, but at greatly reduced levels. In the 1950s, Dr. D. T. W. Simeons studied pregnant women in India and discovered that even malnourished women were capable of producing healthy, well nourished infants. He determined that HCG was responsible for this phenomena. Dr. Simeons believed that HCG for weight loss could help obese patients lose weight by making the body burn stored fat, much as the pregnant woman’s body uses its stored fat to nourish the fetus.

During this time Dr. Simeons wrote a 55-page book entitled, “Pounds and Inches”. It has proven to be a breakthrough in the weight loss field. If you are interested in how HCG works, the book is available free online in a portable document file (PDF) format. The book can help you understand how this natural method of weight works safely to help you achieve your goal weight.

The HCG diet works to reduce appetite and burn the dieter’s stored fat. The HCG program works with a 500 calories a day diet of lean meat, fruits and vegetables. If dieters attempted to live on 500 calories a day without HCG, they would be in a constant state of hunger. The body would be tricked into a state of starvation, which would slow the metabolism and force the body to store unused fat, rather than burning it. HCG for weight loss works because the body is getting 1500 to 4000 calories a day from the stored fat. Therefore, the body does not experience hunger and the metabolism does not slow down.

You might think that because HCG is a hormone produced by pregnant women the the HCG diet would not be effective for men. Fortunately, this is not the case. This natural, homeopathic method of weight loss has proven effective for men and women alike.

HCG can be taken orally with drops placed under the tongue. Or it can be administered with shots. Regardless of the method of delivery, the HCG diet will show dramatic results. The weight loss portion of the HCG protocol may last approximately 3 to 7 weeks, depending on the level of obesity. If you just want to lose 20 pounds, your goals can be accomplished in a very short time. Success begets more success. You will be thrilled with your new thinner self.

Most dieters have experienced the frustration of losing unwanted pounds successfully, only to find that the weight returns once they stop following the diet plan. Even weight loss programs that include a maintenance portion can be frustrating for the dieter, as the unwanted pounds may still eventually return. The idea of losing the pounds permanently and doing it in a healthy way almost seem too good to be true for life-long dieters. However, as Dr. Simeons’ research has proven, the fat lost with the HCG diet typically stays off the body even after the dieter stops taking HCG. Depending on the exact protocol followed, the dieter will gradually increase the caloric intake from 500 to 1500 calories per day.

Other diets sometimes fail to reduce the fat in problem areas even after the dieter has reached the goal weight. An important advantage of HCG is that the fat loss will come from those problem areas such as, abdomen, thighs and hips. You can be the weight you want to be and look the way you want to look. The HCG diet will effectively reduce your weight and reshape those problem areas.

HCG for weight loss is the answer you have been searching for since the first time you attempted a weight loss program. Is it always advisable to consult with your physician before beginning any diet. With quick and lasting results, the HCG diet can help you live the life you always wanted. It is an effective, fast, natural method of losing unwanted pounds and the last program you will ever use, because it works.

Chad’s On Day 14 Of His HCG Weight Loss Diet Program

October 31, 2010 by

Chad’s a fairly typical man. And being a typical, ordinary man he saw that he had slowly put on bits of weight here and bits of weight there. In the end he saw that his weight had slowly climbed to an unhealthy number. People that are overweight or obese typically suffer from negative health consequences. Their risks for typical sicknesses and medical conditions goes up drastically. Overweight or obese people also seem to have less active routines.

In some instances all that is needed is the decision to eat right and get more active. In some instances all that is needed is for an individual to realize that they are eating for 3 or 4. They simply adjust their portion sizes. In other instances individuals just decide to eat at home more often; cutting back on “eating out.” In some instances people just start using more healthy food preparation methods. But statistically speaking…these traditional “dieting” methods just don’t cut it for a large number of people.

A lot of potential dieters require a different weight loss method so they can get to a healthy weight. They need a weight loss method that will provide drastic weight loss. And it needs to happen in a short amount of time. They also need a weight loss program that will quickly force them to adopt positive eating habits and knowledge about healthy food preparation methods, positive food choices and appropriate portion sizes.

Chad definitely needed a “different” option for weight loss. And he saw it in the HCG weight loss diet program and accompanying protocol. The program offers terrific weight loss averages to dieters that are willing to stick to the simple rules. Dieters lose an average of 1 to 2 pounds per day on the HCG weight loss diet while following protocol exactly.

Dieters are required by the protocol to weigh themselves each and every day. Chad happens to be on Day 14 of his HCG weight loss diet. On Day 14 he weighed himself and noted it in his weight loss journal…he was at 226.5 pounds. That means he dropped a pound and a half since Day 13. Chad said, “It’s like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel finally…but, wait…that could be the refrigerator light.”

He’s going forward as planned. He is losing weight. If he continues on as he has been going then he will lose about 9 additional pounds before the program is complete. He’ll probably finish up with a final weight of 217 pounds. That is…unless something drastic happens to knock him off course.

Throughout the course of his HCG weight loss diet Chad has discovered that he has to prepare or he’ll slip up more often than not. If he’s not prepared for meal times (and NON meal times) then he’ll end up just taking a “taste” of something forbidden by the protocol. Or he’ll drink something that isn’t approved on the diet. As of Day 14 Chad felt comfortable noting in his weight loss journal that he was experiences far less cravings. He also feels that he is now capable of cooking smarter and eating the foods that were introduced to him by the dieting protocol and recipe guide. He also feels that for the most part he feels full and satisfied while sticking to the diet.

And probably most important of everything that Chad has learned while on the HCG weight loss diet is to listen to his body. He is able to tell when he’s full. He is able to discern from real hunger and a craving or boredom. He is able to walk away from a healthy, proportionate meal feeling full and satisfied.

Day 9: Waiting For My HCG Diet Kit

October 28, 2010 by

You haven’t forgotten Lisa, have you? She is the buddy that I bullied into sticking to the HCG diet alongside me. We are still sitting around waiting for our HCG Diet kits so with all our extra time we have been studying up on the HCG diet protocol. In our studying we have discovered a couple items to stress about.

There are tons of different postings regarding the matter, but the problem is that many of them contradict each other. Lisa and I have agreed to disagree when it comes to the protocol until we actually get our HCG diet protocol in the mail along with our products in the HCG diet kit.

But I cannot help but whip through some of the available information online and take note of a couple of the items that are jumping out at me as troublesome issues: berries, substitutions, ground meat, diet pop and Crystal Light.

I will begin by whining about the possible lack of Diet Pop and Crystal Light. REALLY? Seriously no diet pop or Crystal Light? That’s what I read, anyway. A few of the online hot spots I read back in the day pointed to their “twice daily diet pop” and their constant consumption of Crystal Light as their salvation while they stayed away from sugar and ate very limited fruit. And I totally saw how that would be me.

I mean, if I can’t have a giant sugar cookie slathered in cream cheese frosting…I better have my hands wrapped around a diet soda or SOMETHING! But I’m going to put a pin in that and revisit it when the actual protocol confirms my suspicions.

I’m also dreading the fact that ALL berries aren’t approved. All those yummy berries out there seem so fantastic and healthy yet it seems that only strawberries are approved on the diet. At least that’s what I’m getting from the majority of the blogs, etc. that I’m running across.

I also read about ground meat. Apparently it’s a definite “no-no.” That makes sense so I bet it’s right. I’m just going to have a difficult time telling my little brother the next time he hosts one of his frequent grilling nights for the fam. He’s a hunter and he’s so proud of the fact that the ground meat he uses for his burgers actually comes from his own hard work! He’s got a freezer full of ground meat of all sorts and it’s always very good. I guess I will have to bring my own tiny steak or something. And he’ll just have to accept my apologies for purchasing my own meat.

The only other thing that really stands out as problematic is the issue with substitutions. Basically…there don’t seem to be any. I figured that you could “save” items to eat later. Like a fruit for late afternoon or even evening. Or your Melba toasts for the middle of the night if you had to stay up to work late, etc.

But there are bloggers and facebookers out there who are discussing the fact that you cannot do that. Or that you are not supposed to do that. Sigh. Well, I guess I’ll just have to get over it for now. I might as well because I don’t even know which parts of my fears are true and which are just rumor. I’ll be able to see for sure as soon as the HCG diet kit arrives since there’s a protocol booklet included with the products. And then I’ll know!

The Health Benefits Of HCG: Get Them For Yourself

October 22, 2010 by

The health benefits of HCG are many; so many, in fact, that it can be claimed that they are endless. The wide spread problem of obesity is 1 that results in a wild number of health problems. The fact that this specific set of typical health problems are (for the most part) avoidable makes it even more depressing that the problem of obesity has reached extreme proportions.

It’s not just a “looks” issue. Many people want to lose weight to look better, but for a lot of us…it’s a health issue more than anything else. Bodily functions are inhibited by extreme levels of weight. Being overweight can strain certain bodily functions. And being obese strains them even more. It can even result in a shortened life span.

Obese people live with higher dangers of heart disease and stroke. They are in addition more likely to have diabetes, increased blood pressure, gallbladder disease and gallst1s, cancer, osteoarthritis, sleep apnoea, asthma and gout. And that is just to list a couple.

The risk of heart disease alone should be enough to bring obesity to the notice of the world at large as an issue to get under control. The risk of heart disease and stroke should be enough to cause enough alarm (alarm is an appropriate response to this situation) in those even approaching the state of obesity. But the risk of several severe conditions that are often the cause of pre-mature death in a person…should have been a guarantee that NO ONE would allow themselves to adjust to the state of obesity. And that didn’t happen.

Physicians find themselves constantly discussing being overweight and obese with their patients. They find themselves reiterating the problems assosociated with negative weight states. They find themselves helping their patients to weight the risks, the advantages and the “trouble” of losing weight. Many are suggesting prescription HCG.

Prescription HCG offers notable weight loss in a little amount of time. Successful dieters seem to lose approx. 1 lb. per day. That’s 1 lb. each and every day. The health benefits al1 make the stringent diet well worth the effort. If you think about it…successfully making it through the prescription HCG program leaves people less likely to go through any or all of the following: heart disease, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, gallbladder, gallstones, cancer, osteoarthritis, sleep apnoea, asthma and gout…again…that is just to name a couple! If that doesn’t make regulating your eating habits worth it…there’s not much that can!

Considering HCG Diet Medical Research

October 5, 2010 by

Lots of potential dieters think about the HCG diet medical research before choosing to go along with the HCG dietary program’s dieting protocol. The program’s dieting protocol was introduced by Dr. Simeons, an endocrinologist, over 50 years ago. Since that time homeopathic options restoring the HCG injection have been introduced and released to the public. This has made the formerly exclusive diet much more “accessible” and it’s no longer a diet available exclusively to the rich and famous.

In addition to being more accessible, the diet has become more affordable. Prescriptions and physicians have become a thing of the past. People wanting to drop pounds no longer have to dedicate daily excursions back and forth from exclusive weight loss offices. And the HCG diet medical research is becoming increasingly accessible as well. This makes it easier for a higher number of the general public to accept the amazing weight loss possibilities of the products.

People who stick to the protocol laid down so clearly in the protocol drop an average of 1 to 2 pounds per day. People who drop this much pounds typically experience additional benefits. Some of these additional benefits include an rise in their general health, an rise in their activity level, a decreased risk for many common illnesses and diseases, and more.

While some question the validity of different weight loss programs…none will argue with the point that presents that weight loss is a good idea for many due to health consequences. There are direct connections between health and pounds. And there are definite connections between pounds and particular prerequisities that can be really serious.

Many professionals continue researching the connection between weight and some types of cancer. Cardiac disease and diabetes are all really serious and typical prerequisities that are more common amongst those who are overweight or suffering from the effects of obesity.

Obesity (and rampant issues of being overweight) are contributing heavily to the overall healthcare costs of the nation. Many see the obesity epidemic as being the most pressing matter in the nation at the current time due to its extensive reach socially as well as its far reach geographically.

Statistics show that the propensity to be overweight or obese rises as we age. About 76% of males and 68% of females between the ages of 55 and 64 in the world are obese. This is a disturbing number when you think about all the health ramifications. Recent studies indicate that one issue plaguing the nation (and the world) is a misconception related to perception of self.

Obese individuals typically see themselves as only overweight and overweight individuals typically see themselves as simply of normal size. Experts indicate that this is due to comparative factors; the individuals they see around them on a regular basis are all of similar size so they see themselves as “normal” in comparison. As a society we need to institute rigid dedication to healthy dieting processes that provide drastic results. Studying HCG diet medical research will rise the number of individuals willing to stick to the strict protocol in order to access the drastic pounds loss.

HCG Diet Phase 2: The Essential And Vital Maintenance Phase

October 5, 2010 by

The HCG diet is loved by many. Those who have already completed a HCG diet plan are often very clear on the program protocol. They are strict, but they are not misleading. Because there are so few requirements and so few approved foods it is not easy for the dieters to get confused.

But even those who have already completed the plan are sometimes utterly not aware of a vital aspect of the diet: HCG diet phase 2. It is the maintenance period. The maintenance period is vital. It is not just one option that some people include because they are too ambitious. The HCG diet phase 2 is necessary in order for the body to keep the weight off that has been lost during the program.

During HCG diet phase 2 or maintenance phase the body adjusts. Dieters are allowed 1500 calories instead of the previous limitation of 500. More foods are added to the approved list but dieters must still pick and choose between all the foods available to them.

When dieters undertake the maintenance phase (HCG diet phase 2) accurately they will stick to the food limits in addition to the caloric limits. They also Hto stick to it for the requisite amount of time. The amount of time spent on maintenance should equal the amount of time spent on the diet.

So if a dieter stuck to the HCG diet for the fifteen day period then they need to complete a fifteen day maintenance period. But if they stuck to the HCG diet for forty days they need to stick to the maintenance period for forty days. It is simple just like the remainder of the diet, but for some reason many simply ignore the need for this part of the diet.

Individuals who avoid HCG diet phase 2 find that they have a much harder time maintaining their weight loss after the diet is finished. This is a scandal considering the fact that HCG diets provide a drastic and rapid weight loss potential for most dieters. Dieters who are able to stick to the protocol introduced in the basic protocol will typically see weight loss close to the average of 1 to 2 pounds each day.

There aren’t many things more annoying than meeting this wonderful weight loss average just to see the weight return when the maintenance phase is skipped. The maintenance phase is typically not nearly as difficult for a lot of dieters as the literal diet when they were limited to 500 calories per day. Some suggest that they struggle changing to the increased foods while still keeping in mind that there is a limit. They want to let loose and eat whatever they want as soon as they add more calories. For these people there is a HCG diet maintenance e-cookbook that will aid them in sticking to the program protocol throughout the HCG diet phase 2.
