Whilst most people experience sweating armpits at some time under extreme conditions, there are an unfortunate number of people who are living with the problem daily and dare not even lift their arms in public for fear of showing embarrassing sweat stains. Armpit sweat really can be embarrassing, and for thousands of people it causes a real problem as they worry about these sweat stains and odors making their lives a sheer misery, living with sweating armpits can seem like a real problem.
Although many people associate it with people who don’t take enough showers, (and this can be one reason) or use sufficient deodorant, the problem of armpit sweat can also be down to clinical and biological conditions which can be improved with correct treatment. In truth, armpit sweat is an absolutely necessary function of our bodies and is quite normal. It is one way in which the body can cool itself down when it is in danger of overheating due to emotional stress, physical exercise or when the temperature is just simply boiling hot. It’s also an effective method of lubrication for our arms against the torso – sweating armpits aren’t only a bad thing.
The reasons why some people suffer more from armpit sweat than others are numerous and varied. It can be down to something easy to identify (and maybe control) such as diet or fitness level or it could be due to other biological factors which can be a little trickier to pinpoint. Some reasons for excessive armpit sweat could be obesity, stress, menopause (is it hot in here or is it me?) spicy food, puberty and panic attacks. It’s very unfortunate that worrying about armpit sweat can actually make the problem much worse.
As well as causing embarrassing clothes stains, sweating armpits are also often associated with a foul smell which is due to the bacteria, this can make the problem many times worse. Deodorants and antiperspirants are simply designed to mask moisture and odor problems and don’t get to the root of the problem at all. There are, however, other natural remedies which may help.
Although we’ve already said that it’s not always associated with cleanliness, taking frequent showers can still help to cut down on the problem, as well as wearing natural fiber (preferably pure cotton) clothes which are loose fitting and allow room for the air to circulate and your skin to breathe. You can also help to keep your armpits clean and dry by shaving them, giving the bacteria less chance to breed and cause those nasty smells.
By using these natural remedies you may find that the problem is more under control, but if not there are some medical procedures available. If shop bought deodorants and antiperspirants simply aren’t strong enough for your needs then why not speak to the local pharmacy and see if they have something a little strong. Alternatively you can seek medical advice, so call in to the doctors or medical health center and see what they suggest. One thing is sure, don’t let sweating armpit problems ruin your life; there are ways to improve the situation.

Excessive Armpit Sweating- Get Rid Of The Sweating, Live Normally

Sweating although not loved, is a normal function of the body, it shows that the body is able to function properly and cool itself as necessary when it becomes overheated. Excessive armpit sweating shows that the body is unable to function as it should and there is something wrong with the natural function of the inner cooling system.
Armpit sweating is caused by the synchronized functioning of the two glands located near the armpits – one is the Apocrine gland and the other is the Eccrine gland. The Eccrine gland is the normal gland that performs the most normal function of secreting sufficient amount of clear watery substance to lessen the heat and moistens the area around the armpits to give a cooling effect. This is a nature\’s own way of fighting the heat radiating from the body.
The damage causing gland is the Apocrine gland which releases a thicker fluid that causes the smell and the stains on the clothes after drying.
Thus, the Apocrine gland actually causes all the mischief in the armpits giving out the foul smell. It is believed that the discharge from the Apocrine gland is essentially greasy because the folds of the delicate skin under the arm may tear apart due to constant rubbing with the shirt or other clothing items that come in contact with the skin in that area.
You can apply a talcum powder deodorant locally to help with the excessive armpit sweating. Although the talcum\’s work short term, there is no cure for the ongoing problem caused by the sweating.
In case, the same environmental conditions remain, excessive armpit sweating is in all likelihood bound to continue and the talcum powder would actually add to the discomfort.
Although there is no medication that offers a cure, there is research in the field to find a cure for excessive armpit sweating. You can use a talcum powder or a deodorant for the problem but it is only a temporary solution. You can however get relief over a one day period.
The absolute cure for excessive armpit sweating is a surgical procedure. The surgeon makes a cut into the Appocrine gland rendering it non functional and stopping the fluid. The body thinks it is still functioning as it should and it has no idea that the flow if the excretion has stopped, therefore ridding the problem of sweating too much.

If you\’re a person that must be out in the sun during the summer heat, then you\’re probably dealing with sweaty armpits. The armpit let off a lot of heat because of their location and the body cools itself down by discharging fluid to that area so the body can return to its natural state.
This is not only a major problem, it is one embarrassing situation where you become the target of all eyes and people start moving farther from you to avoid the odor. Imagine what a situation to be in when you crash into the interview room dripping wet with sweat – chances are you will never make it.
Sweaty armpits have been a challenge to the doctors from times immemorial. Dossiers of research information would be available on the subject and except for a limited scale success of some surgeons, who try to cheat the body of everything being normal by making a small incision to the channel delivering the obnoxious fluid and the odor to the skin on the armpits, nothing else seems to have been found out. Medicines have been tried a plenty but not one has proved effective in tackling the situation.
So how do you get out of the situation of sweaty armpits? Using deodorants and talcum powders do have a limited effect on the area of the armpits but they do not prove to be a permanent solution to the problem.
The applications are only good for a day; the next day proves once again to be problematic. The usage of herbs along with the use of certain leafs has given a small amount of relief but these formulas offer no permanent solution for the problem.
Sweaty armpits are not only a problem fro the person concerned, they are an open source of a number of diseases and illnesses. Fungal infections are one of the most common complications that happen to uncared armpits.
Throughout the day the armpits are wet, dry, and wet again from the heat. Eczema and the fungus known as ringworm are a common find in these areas due to this very fact.
Since no immediate non-surgical relief is available the best thing to do is to consult a good doctor and schedule a place, date and time for the small incision to be done. You are now a free person, no sweaty armpits and no embarrassing
