Every Other Day Diet Used By Every Dieter

The Every Other Day Diet means that you have one day of eating normally and the one day of eating light. The day where you eat light consists of 300-400 calories. Created by Dr. John Daugirdas, it was meant to help with weight loss but not feel like they are being deprived.
The diet has not been completely evaluated for its effectiveness; but, anyone who has the following illnesses should not use this diet: kidney or heart disease, diabetes, eating disorders, strokes or hypertension.
Eating normally every other day is believed to assist dieters in avoiding their metabolism decreasing which often happens with low calorie diets.
Eat a big breakfast on normal days; but, do not eat after 7pm. Restrict the amount of sweets eaten and choose healthy foods. Do not eat too much.
On average, a man should consume around’00-2400 calories a day. 1200-1800 is recommended for women. Remember that your age and how active you are will also factor in to your caloric intake.
Learning a new way to think about fat, calories and how your body handles both is the primary goal of this diet. Understand that fat is fuel for our bodies. It is also a part of everyday life. There is no way to completely eliminate fat from all foods. Dieting does not mean that you have to starve or feel deprived.
The majority of diets ask you to ignore the fact that you like foods that may be high in fat. You start off following the requirements to the letter. Then, something happens and you slip up a little. Because you have been told that fatty foods will mean no weight loss, you feel guilty.

Research on animals has shown that eating this way is promising and may increase life expectancy. The psychological aspect may make dieting easier since you only have to stick to it for one day.
