5 Different Ways To Workout On A Noblerex Machine

A Noblerex is a total body workout machine used to improve muscle strength, hormone health, lymphatic health, bone density, weight loss, blood oxygenation, flexibility, and balance. Even just 10 minutes on the machine has been shown to have the same effect as 60 minutes of exercise at the gym. It can also improve other aspects of health proven by whole body vibration research studies.

In order to make the most of your Noblerex K1 vibration trainer, you should know how to create a challenging workout for yourself. This will depend on your current level of fitness and your goals. Here are 5 different methods to vary your exercise on this machine:

1. You can simply stand on the platform, feet equidistant from the center of the platform, and make slight adjustments in your body positioning. This is the easiest way to use the Noblerex and many people like to do this while watching television or reading something. You can use the handles for balance if you’d like. Your body is going to be tricked into thinking you must be doing many different exercises as you move your weight around and vary the muscles stimulated. You can lean back and immediately feel your back muscles being worked out, and you can lean forward and feel your abdominal muscles stimulated. Squatting down and up a few times is a good idea as well as swaying your hips left and right. The machine is always working out your core as you’re standing on it. This simple way to exercise lets the machine do all the hard work.

2. Many people like to change the level while they exercise in order to challenge themselves and to make sure their muscles don’t get too used to a particular speed. You might want to use a pyramid method by starting low and then high and back to low, or you might want to start low and increase a level throughout your workout. The Automodes settings are perfect if you don’t want to think about it; these change the levels automatically. The more you use the machine, you will also note that certain levels work better for certain goals. The levels 1-5 are ideal for warming up and cooling down, creating a massage effect, and doing therapeutic exercise. The levels 6-10 are ideal for body toning, strength, and weight loss. Remember that these are not hard and fast rules. Most people will feel challenged at level 1 or 2 at first so take your time moving up and make sure to give your body time to get used to the vibration. If you feel challenged at level 1 – good! It just means you have lots of room to grow.

3. You can change the placement of your feet. A huge advantage of pivotal/oscillating vibration machines like this one is that you can customize the amplitude, or the rise and fall of the platform edges, to fit your needs. If you’re just starting out, you can place your feet closer to the mid-line of the platform where less muscle extension occurs. As you advance and become stronger and more flexible, you can take your feet out to the edges to make the exercise more challenging.

4. If you’d like to target trouble-spots such as thighs, abs, or arms, place your body in a position that will stimulate the area best. You may have to make up your own move, and that’s perfectly fine as long as you’re practicing good posture. Try holding that pose for 1-2 minutes each, or as long as you possibly can. It’s good practice to use a digital timer to record your time or to know how many seconds you have left in a certain pose. Some good positions to try out are a squat, plank, side plank, lunge, calf raise, and triceps dip. Holding a position without moving is called a static hold. You can also do dynamic exercises, which can often be more challenging. With dynamic exercises, you are moving within the pose. Some good exercises to try doing dynamically are pushups, lunges, squats, and dips.

5. If you are already in good physical shape, you can ramp up your workout from a 10 minute session once a day to a 10-20 minute session twice a day. Just make sure to give your body a 24 to 48 hour rest period between more intense workouts. As you get stronger, you can add weights, medicine balls, elastic bands, etc. to your time on the machine. Hand straps come included to allow a full range of upper body workout options.

Rest assured that after using the Noblerex K1 for a just a few weeks, you will create your own challenging yet fun workouts. An instructional DVD and exercise poster come with the machine as well, to help you get started with over 30 different exercise positions. Have fun!
